Why Choose Dracaena draco?
Dracaena draco, also known as the Dragon Tree, is a stunning, slow-growing tree native to the Canary Islands, Madeira, and North Africa. Key Features of Dracaena draco
- Growth Habit: Slow-growing but can reach up to 12-15 meters in its natural habitat.
- Foliage: Blue-green, stiff, sword-shaped leaves arranged in rosettes at the branch tips.
- Trunk and Bark: Thick, sculptural, grayish-brown bark, resembling dragon scales.
- Flowers and Fruits: Produces greenish-white flowers in summer, followed by orange-red berries.
- Resin: Secretes a red sap, historically used in medicine, varnishes, and dyes.
How to Care for Dracaena draco
- Light: Prefers bright, indirect light but can tolerate direct sun. Keep in a south-facing or west-facing spot for best growth.
- Watering: Allow the top 2-3 cm of soil to dry out before watering. Avoid overwatering to prevent root rot.
- Humidity: Adapts to normal indoor humidity, but prefers a dry, well-ventilated environment.
- Temperature: Thrives between 18-27°C. Protect from frost and sudden temperature drops.
- Soil: Use a well-draining mix, such as a combination of cactus soil, perlite, and coarse sand.
- Fertilization: Apply a balanced, diluted liquid fertilizer every 4-6 weeks during the growing season.
- Pruning: Minimal pruning required – remove dead or damaged leaves as needed.
Common Issues and Solutions
- Yellowing Leaves: Caused by overwatering or lack of drainage. Adjust watering habits accordingly.
- Brown Leaf Tips: Often due to low humidity or excess fluoride in tap water. Use distilled water when possible.
- Pests: Occasionally affected by spider mites and mealybugs. Treat with neem oil or insecticidal soap.

Perfect for sensory sensitive kids and for the pure beauty of it
Size: 2' x 6' (Natural), Color: Natural (Yellow Undertones), Size: 2' x 6' (Natural), Color: Natural (Yellow Undertones)
After speaking over the phone with the seller, I was confident in this purchase for my SPD son. They do not use harsh chemicals or dyes in the process. It is from New Zealand and the only use in Vietnam is for shipping. My son hasn't been diagnosed yet for Autism but he is in the process. He is super sensitive to all things sensory and Amazon feedback isn't the place to give specific details on his condition but I will write that when he fist touched it- which was willingly- he smiled and asked to sleep on it. When he laid down on it and I covered him- he was calm and smiling. In the pic I provided he is calm and holding his door (his obsession is doors and windows). He even set his door down to hold the fur. For other mommies and papas with spd/autistic kids you know that willingly touching a new fabric and setting down an obsessive item is huge and super encouraging!
I am so grateful to have such a quality item that is affordable for my special needs son. His older sister received one as well as is now pretending to be a sheep. Fun for everyone!
The ONLY negative is that the brand/info sticker on the pelt was a pain to get off and pulled some of the felt - not damaging it but blemishing the unity -but if the skin is down it will not be noticeable.
A super fun detail is that all of the fur is combed out but there were a few strands that were wavy and had a slight curl- I LOVED that.
There was no odor at all which is great! I expected an animal smell which is better than chlorine or dioxin which is what competitors use in their process.
There is no noticeable seam in the middle on the top where the two pelts are gathered.
I am soooo satisfied!

Exactly as described and what I needed.
Size: 2' x 6' (Natural), Color: Wolf Tipped
I have a bad back along with other medical problems. I bought this for padding in my wheelchair. Very thick, soft, flexible, everything I needed. No smell and very little shedding even initially. Arrived quickly and well packaged.

Great product: thick and cozy
Size: Single Pelt/2 ft x 3 ft, Color: Natural (Ivory Whiite)
This is a lovely, thick sheepskin. I’m using it to drape over a chair. It’s very soft. The color is a natural white. Arrived quickly. The price was great for such a wonderful sheepskin.

Love it!
Size: 2' x 6' (Double Pelt), Color: Linen, Size: 2' x 6' (Double Pelt), Color: Linen
Exceeded all expectations. Bigger than I imagined it would be, super soft and thick, beautiful color (Linen), and no funky smell at all. It seems very durable. After running my hands all over it, no shedding occurred. I have yet to sit on it myself, though, as my cat claimed it right away - didn't even wait for me to remove the tag! He's been there for hours and I'm thinking I've lost my snuggle buddy, so I bought two more in the smaller size so he can have his own on the bed with me at night. I am so amazed by the quality, feel, and color. I can't believe I almost let other reviews deter me from this purchase. 100% thrilled with this beautiful pelt. Absolutely recommend!
UPDATE:
I received the other 2 purchased. Just as soft, just as thick, consistent color (Linen), no shedding, no smell. They have been in use for several days now without any issues. Love them all - and my snuggle buddy is back! 🥰

It’s wonderful!!
Size: 2' x 3' (Single Pelt), Color: Brown, Size: 2' x 3' (Single Pelt), Color: Brown
The product is wonderful! You know it is real, coz the smell doesn’t go away. I use it to meditate and cannot how nicely it created the perfect comforting barrier to help elevate my experience. I however want to find alternatives coz I stopped using animal products after turning a vegetarian. The size (it is bigger in person than in the pic) and color(brown) are perfect for what I do and doesn’t need much/any maintenance!
The white however needs a lot of attention and care.I’m sure it would last a decade and the weight is just right too!
